The Peremoha (Victory) Park (2, Osvoboditeley Ave.)
One of the biggest parks in the left bank of Kiev. The park entrance is guarded by a monument to the mother who send her son on the war. From the left side of the sculpture - the memorial tables on which are described the stages the major events of Great Patriotic War. A little further from it the architects placed a sundial and built the Alpine hills from the colorful pebbles and tiny mountain flowers and moss. This park is liked by children and young people because a lot of attractions on it. Also, the park has a Ferris wheel, which offers stunning panorama of the right bank of Kiev. The main attraction of the park is the monument - Barrow of immortality created during the construction of the park. Mound is made in the shape of a pyramid. Next to him - a monument to fallen partisans who defended Kiev. At the end of the park there is a lake, on the two bridges over the lake you can admire the wild ducks that float on the lake.
Mariinsky Park (1, Mikhaila Grushevskogo Str.)
One of the most popular parks in Kiev. It is a unique reminder of landscape art of the past. After going through it, you will see the Mariinsky Palace, the one against which the Ukrainian President congratulates compatriots with the New Year. To the left of it - the dome of the Verkhovna Rada. Do not be lazy and go to the precipice: from the observation deck you can see a great view of the Dnieper and the left bank of Kiev, and after going a little farther, you`ll be able to see the stadium of Lobanovskiy. At the end of the City Park, which immediately follows the Mariinsky, is a bridge of lovers, where you can go to the Kreschatiy Park, and there - visit the Museum of Water, the Puppet Theatre and the monument of "Eternal Love".
Kievo-Pecherska Lavra (11-15, Lavrska Str.)
One of the most visited religious sights in Kiev is Kievo-Pecherska Lavra that is also known as Kiev Cave Monastery was founded by St.Antoniy in 1051 and still mesmerizers visitors with its beauty. This is a historic Orthodox Monastery and a popular place of pilgrimage for millions of believers and naturally a great attraction for many curious minds of tourists. This place will amaze you with marvelous architecture and unusual underground catacombs with lots of puzzling passages and underground churches and halls that contain remnants of saints. This place is considered holy by all Christians and attracts tourists and faithful people from all over the world. Kievo-Pecherska Lavra played a very important role in the cultural development of Ukraine. The first printing house was established here; many chroniclers, writers, scientists, painted and doctors also lived and worked in this place. One of the most famous ancient works “The Tale of Bygone Years” that is the main source of knowledge about the times of Kievan Rus was written by Chronicler Nestor in Lavra. Being one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine since August 21, 2007 Kievo-Pecherska Lavra is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage and is also a cultural preserve with a national status.
Khreschatyk Street or Independence Square
One of the most interesting streets of the city for tourists, is considered to be the Khreshchatyk Street. This is the central and most popular street of the city among the citizens and guests of Kiev. And this is the place from which guests of the capital often fall into the heart of the city and the entire country, the central square of Kiev - Maidan Nezalezhnosti. Andrew’s Descent or Andriyivsky Spusk

St. Sophia’s Square
St. Sophia’s (or Sofia) Square - another great attraction in Kiev. St. Sophia's Cathedral and the monument to Bohdan Khmelnytsky's definitely worth to see them! St. Sophia`s Cathedral is the greatest monument of ancient and Byzantine architecture. It is known for its unique mosaics and numerous frescoes of the 11th century. Currently, St. Sophia`s Cathedral keeps 260 square meters of mosaics and more than 3,000 square meters of frescoes. Each year at Sophia`s Square is organizing a various cultural events. Art Factory Platform (1a, Belomorskaya Str.)
Art Factory Platform is located in the industrial zone near the metro station "Lisova".
